My Virtual Neighbourhood was launched by the team who run The Local Buyers Club, a company that has been championing independent businesses for the past few years.

It's born of the heartbreak of seeing small businesses closing their doors as the Coronavirus outbreak worsens.

This is our attempt at growing something beautiful, positive and community-minded in the midst of tough times. Since launching in March 2020, it's estimated that My Virtual Neighbourhood has generated hundreds of thousands of pounds for London's independent businesses.
